About Us
The Sisterhood of Liberia is a voluntary, nonprofit, and nonpolitical Organization.  The Organization was instituted during the early part of two thousand and seven by few visionary Liberian females referred to as the "SISTERS".

The mission of the Sisterhood of Liberia is to unify all Liberian females.  The Organization is also a humanitarian one.  Although, the Sisterhood of Liberia is in its infant stage, the mission of the organization is very promising.  Membership is available to all Liberian females who meet other eligibility requirements as outlined in the Organization's constitution.

The principal governance structures of the Sisterhood of Liberia are the Administration and the Board of  Advisors.  The Administration runs the operation of the Organization and is headed by a President and assisted by the Vice President.  Other members of the Administration are the General-Secretary, the Financial Secretary, the Treasurer and the Chaplain.  The Board of Advisors serves as a judicial organ of the Organization and its members advise the president on matters pertaining to the institution.
Organization History
The organization was founded in 2007 by a group of Liberian women in the United States of America.
